What happens after you reach out

What to expect at your first visit
1

Tell us what is happening

Request a consultation or call us. Our team will follow up to discuss your questions and arrange the next step. Sending a request does not book an appointment.

2

Meet with Dr. DeSaix

We review your questions, health history, and any sleep study or treatment information you already have. If you need testing, we can help coordinate with a local or online medical sleep provider.

3

Make a plan together

We explain the next steps for your situation. If an oral appliance is appropriate, we discuss fitting, adjustments, and follow-up. A consultation does not commit you to treatment.

Wondering what insurance may cover?

Oral appliance therapy is billed through medical—not dental—insurance. RespAir Sleep works with and bills major medical insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UMR, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Cigna, Medicare, and the North Carolina State Health Plan. We also file claims with Humana and Mutual of Omaha. Network status and benefits vary by plan. Our team can verify your specific benefits and explain likely costs before treatment. Verification is not a guarantee of coverage or payment.
