Understand your options.
Plan your care.

In-network care with many major commercial medical insurance plans. Our team helps you understand your benefits and expected costs before treatment.

Start with your
medical benefits.

Oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea is generally handled through medical insurance, rather than routine dental benefits. Your diagnosis, plan rules, and treatment details affect coverage.

We’re in-network with a number of commercial medical insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), and UMR.

We also work with Medicare, TRICARE, and VA benefits. We file claims with Humana and other insurers as well.

Network participation and benefits vary by specific plan. Our team will review your coverage, any referral or authorization requirements, and expected out-of-pocket costs before treatment.

“Accepted” and “covered” are different questions.

Ask us to confirm your plan’s network status, any authorization requirements, and the expected patient responsibility.

Working with an insurer does not mean every plan is in network or every service is covered. Your insurer makes the final benefits and payment determination.

Is the consultation free?

The practice currently offers free virtual or in-person consultations. Confirm the visit type when you schedule; a consultation is different from an examination, sleep test, appliance, or ongoing treatment. Ask which services may have separate charges.

Will my insurance cover an oral appliance?

It depends on your plan, diagnosis, and the treatment requirements. Our team can help review your benefits. Verification or an estimate does not guarantee that your insurer will cover or pay for a service.

Are you in network with my plan?

We’re in-network with a number of commercial medical insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), and UMR. Please contact us with your exact plan information so we can confirm network status and benefits. Humana is accepted for claims filing; it is not included in our in-network list.

Can I get help if I don’t have insurance?

Yes—contact us to discuss direct payment and ask about current in-house financing options. We can help you understand the financial steps for the care recommended to you.

Do you work with Medicare, TRICARE, or VA benefits?

Yes—we work with Medicare, TRICARE, and VA benefits. Our team will review the requirements for your specific coverage, including any referrals or authorizations, and explain your expected payment responsibility before treatment.

What does treatment cost?

The cost depends on the recommended treatment and your benefits. Request an estimate from our team and ask what it includes, what insurance may pay, and what may be your responsibility.
