Dr. DeSaix founded RespAir Sleep to give people more options for treating sleep and breathing disorders. After years in general dentistry, she completed focused training in sleep and TMJ disorders through a UNC mini-residency and built a practice dedicated to individualized, evidence-based care.
Oral appliance therapy is billed through medical—not dental—insurance. RespAir Sleep works with and bills major medical insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UMR, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Cigna, and Medicare. Network status and benefits vary by plan. Our team can verify your specific benefits and explain likely costs before treatment. Verification is not a guarantee of coverage or payment.
